Psychedelic therapy is gaining ground worldwide as an effective approach to mental symptoms such as depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD and existential struggles. Yet for many Orthodox Jews, participating in these types of sessions is not natural. The form of therapy, often associated with alternative spirituality, Western psychology and secular lifestyles, seems at first glance difficult to reconcile with a lifestyle grounded in halacha, tradition and a strong attachment to Jewish identity.

A safe space for religious depth

Real growth during psychedelic sessions can only really take place when someone feels fully seen, heard and recognized - including in terms of religion and identity. This is why we are one of the few organizations in the Netherlands to offer the possibility of kosher psychedelic therapy, supervised by a therapist with Jewish background and in-depth knowledge of both psychedelics and Judaism.

This form of therapy is specifically designed to Orthodox Jews provide a safe, respectful and spiritually honest experience. The sessions focus not only on the inner process, but also on the context in which it takes place: kosher food, a space in which halachic values are respected, and the possibility of elements such as Jewish music, symbolism or prayer give a place in the ceremony. Our therapist is himself Orthodox Jewish and counsels anyone who is Jewish or wants to get acquainted with the Jewish way of therapeutic counseling.

Personal guidance in line with faith

Our Jewish companion speaks Dutch, English and Yiddish, and is not only professionally trained in guiding psychedelic sessions, but also familiar with the sensibilities and spiritual values of various movements within Orthodox Judaism. Whether you come from a Hasidic community or a more modern Orthodox background, your needs, boundaries and religious beliefs will be carefully considered.

For multi-day itineraries or truffle ceremonies with overnight stays, standard kosher food cared for. During the session itself, there is room for silence, prayer or the use of symbols that strengthen your connection with Hashem. Even after the session, attention is paid to a halachic integration, so that the insights not only bring inner peace, but can also find their way into a life according to Torah and mitzvot.

Individual or group

r are both private sessions as small-scale group sessions possible, whether or not in cooperation with existing Jewish communities in the Netherlands, Belgium or the United Kingdom. Group sessions offer a sense of recognition, shared identity and mutual support. In private sessions, there is more room for customization, for example when working on a specific theme such as grief, burnout, religious doubt or trauma.

In individual sessions, you can choose 6 or 12 hours of counseling, with the longer form providing additional space for rest, processing and spiritual integration after the active trip phase.
